Our QGATE paper has now been peer reviewed and published in Quantum Science and Technology by IOP Publishing.
Authored by Dr Samuel Sheldon, Prof Pieter Kok and Dr Callum Duncan, A quantum Gate Architecture via Teleportation and entanglement presents QGATE, our architecture designed to address some of the key barriers to scaling photonic quantum computing.
QGATE combines deterministic photon sources with a new approach to entanglement and gate teleportation, reducing compile time from exponential to linear scaling and reducing the physical components required to a size realisable in standard data centre racks. The architecture also shows a path to improved quantum error correction thresholds for photonic loss.
This publication marks an important step for the work, which we previously shared as a preprint on arXiv.
